My photograph demonstrates the word "adventure" by showing how the sun has no bounds over where it shines on the earth, neither does a person. It portrays the beauty in illuminating the world in dark or unknown places by exploring fearlessly. And lastly, it portrays inspiration in my opinion, because just like scientists have not been able to fully understand the sun and how it endlessly shines, a person cannot underestimate or restrict their true potential by expectations or lassoed mental burdens. Shine everywhere.

This afternoon hike represents the adventure of traveling to new places, exploring the area, and appreciating the beautiful nature surrounding you. After making it up to a high point, it was refreshing to be able to overlook the ocean and islands in the distance.

I am interested in fantasy and aliens. This is a photo that shows some of my other artwork. I love to model with clay and sculpt. This relates to adventure because I envision aliens on an adventure. I often make props and create staged scenes with figures.

Walking around my high school campus encourages me to keep going and discover new adventures. With a big American flag in the middle of campus, where I walk every day throughout the week, helps to keep me going with the inspiration of our fearless leaders.

The photo was taken on a plane on my flight from South Korea to America. Due to my parent's job, I moved to America. On my plane to America, I felt something I've never felt before; a sense of adventure. America is a place where you feel like you can do anything. There's Hollywood, the Rocky Mountains, Beverly Hills, Palm Springs, and that's just a tiny fraction of America. Just being here feels like a whole new adventure. It was an audacious move, putting a pause to my education in Korea and learning new things when others already had a seven year head start on me. But I feel like I can speak for anyone, including Koreans, who moved to America, when I say "It was worth it". On my flight, of course I felt nervous, of course I felt excited, of course I felt a little scared, but isn't that the point of an adventure?

An adventure can be many things from going on a walk to skydiving. However, the things we do not consider are the adventures we do not see. For example, the adventures that our pets take everyday. My cats are able to take a multitude of mini adventures everyday. So, the next time you think about an adventure, imagine the animal adventures we cannot see for ourselves.

As I saw her looking out the window, I thought about her coming home from a long and crazy adventure - from the jungle like she was an explorer looking for a lost city that was missing for thousands of years.

This photo was taken during a photography field trip to Joshua Tree where students learned, in groups, how to take photos of stars using DSLR cameras placed on a tripod. Lots of laughing and frustrated students. But, most importantly, loads of good memories were made on this adventure to Joshua Tree.

Breathe in, breathe out. Trees are a source of oxygen and of life. When you walk into a forest or even a park, being surrounded by trees gives a feeling of stepping foot into a fairytale perhaps you'll find seven dwarfs, or even a talking rabbit worried about time, Trees are nature's playground for squirrels, birds, bugs, and even us. Wind is music to their leaves swaying back and forth. Trees are full of adventure.

I went on a trip to Gypsy Cove on the Falkland island. There, I saw a colony of Gentoo penguins resting on the sand dunes after a long day of fishing and adventure. In the photo, a fuzzy baby Gentoo penguin walks across the colony.

It's a place where kids can feel like explorers, athletes, campers, etc. As a kid it is where some of the best adventures happen, and most people would love to share this experience with their furry companion. When I think of an adventure, I think of all times I played games like soccer with my cousins, and they would sometimes bring their pets.

Balancing yourself in life is not easy. Peace takes strength and determination. The photo is of a handball court, and the theme is depicted in my efforts to balance on a high wall. We test our limits when we go on an adventure and I thought this does a good job of showing that. Believe in yourself.

My adventure was a field trip exploring Los Angeles for art and architecture. We went to two art museums and went to the Angels Flight to have lunch in Grand Central Market. While exploring the museums, I found a nice structure of a balloon dog.
