Lucy is my outdoor cat. When our neighbor moved away, she asked my mom if she could start feeding the outdoor cat. Mom said, '"No." Lucy showed up on our doorstep, anyway. "Hey, I thought this is where the food would be." It was hard to say "no" after that. That is how I got my cat. She is so cute!

It has the tallest peak in the 48 states, Mount Whitney. The range is home to the largest tree on earth, the General Sherman Tree. There are a total of five national parks found in this mountain range. I love living in a place where I see the beauty of the Sierra Nevadas on a daily basis. The beauty and majesty of these mountains bring me great joy.

This picture is a photo I took of my mom on a trip to New York City. We went to the Bronx Botanical Gardens together, and they had a holiday train show set up. I had been wanting to go to New York City for Christmas for years, and I was so excited to have been there. Not only did the trip itself bring me joy, but so did the fact that my mom was happy and enjoying her time. She doesn't love to travel like I do, but when we travel together, she always feels happier, bringing me joy. My mama is the source of joy in my life and seeing her happy in one of my favorite cities is the best feeling.

Every year, we take care of many butterflies from March to October, and it is fun!This picture brings me joy because the life cycle from an egg to a caterpillar to a chrysalis to a butterfly has been successful. Another reason that this brings me joy is because the colors are pretty nice. In 2020, we started to raise Monarch butterflies, and we were happy when one butterfly came out. Now, it has been 5 years, and we have released many Monarchs.
