This photo was taken at Mammoth mountain, on one of our favorite runs, Dave's Run. We were taking a break because the conditions were very thick and I looked up and saw my friend was standing in a very heroic position. With the clouds drifting under the blue sky, and the steepness of the snow, I knew it would turn out to be a very adventurous picture.
