Joy is an easy subject to photograph because it can mean so many different things. Some people get joy from playing a sport or their work. Most of all, joy is what makes you happy. You can tell when someone is joyful just by looking at their face and if you look at the faces of the people in this photo you can almost feel their joy, and that is why I chose this photograph to submit. This photograph brings me joy because softball is what makes me happy. Being on the field with my friends and feeling the excitement of the game. That is my experience of joy. It may not be everyone’s, but that is why people are different, and that’s okay. Because as long as you have a little piece of joy, a little thing in your life that can make you smile, then you can feel the way the people in my photograph felt.
