Coming home from a long day of school would leave any kid mentally drained. As I walk through my front my gate into my home I hear the sweet screams of laughter from my nephew. This new addition to the family I never knew I needed. His smiles and screams of joy leave me with a heart full of love. In his smile I see the pure light of innocence shine through him. With just one simple smile he seems to cure the draining day I had. When I see him I see my light. He is my sunshine on the cloudiest days, and my laughter that picks me up when life gets too heavy. A pure joyful form of life I hope I can forever hold and protect.
